REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP 02-2019 MCAHA- RAD LEGAL SERVICES

 

The Housing Authority of the City of McAllen Texas (MCAHA) is soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed and bonded entities to provide Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Program Legal Services.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) contains specific submission requirements, general scope of service requirements, as well as terms, conditions and other pertinent information necessary for submitting a proposal.

Proposers may obtain proposal documents beginning 9:00 A.M. CST, Wednesday, January 16, 2019 during regular business hours from McAllen Housing Authority Main Office, 2301 Jasmine Avenue, McAllen Texas; or visit our website:  www.mcallenha.org. Proposals submitted in accordance with solicitation guidelines must be received by the MCAHA on or before Thursday, February, 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. CST; 2301 Jasmine Avenue, McAllen, Texas 78501

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL RFP NO. 01-2019

RAD Physical Condition Assessment (RPCA) Services

 

The Housing Authority of the City of McAllen (HA) is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to conduct all components of the Rental Assistance Demonstration Physical Condition Assessment (RPCA) for various HA properties in accordance with applicable HUD regulations.

 

Solicitation documents will be available at the HACM’s Main office 2301 Jasmine Avenue, McAllen, TX beginning Thursday, January 3, 2019, during regular business hours or on the HA’s website, www.mcallenha.org search “About MHA- Purchasing Link”.

A Pre-submission Conference will be held at Family Development Center, 2501 Maple Avenue, McAllen, TX 78501 on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.

Proposals submitted in accordance with solicitation guidelines will be received by the HACM, 2301 Jasmine Avenue, McAllen, TX until 2:00p.m. CST on Thursday, January 24, 2019.

Public Housing ACOP Amendments

Notice is hereby given that the Housing Authority of the City of McAllen (HA) is proposing to amend the Public Housing Admissions & Continued Occupancy Plan (ACOP). The Public Housing ACOP’s purpose is to inform the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the general public of the HA’s implementation of program regulation found within 24 CFR Part 960.261 and The Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 (HOTMA) income limits for the Public Housing Program.

Public review and comment are encouraged during the thirty (30) day comment period commencing on January 28, 2019. A public hearing will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the HA Family Development Center located at 2501 W. Maple Avenue, McAllen Texas.

Copies of the amended Public Housing ACOP will be available for public review during the comment period, during normal business hours at the Main Office of the HA located at 2301 Jasmine Avenue, McAllen, Texas 78501. In addition, the Public Housing ACOP will be uploaded to the HA’s Website at www.mcallenha.org.

Comments regarding the plan may be mailed to the Main Office of the HA or submitted via website to the attention of Mr. Arnold Padilla, Executive Director through February 28, 2019.

CLOSING OF APPLICATION INTAKE

Effective April 5, 2018, The Housing Authority of the City of McAllen will close the (Waiting List) application intake for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. Application intake for the HCV Program will not re-open until further notice. A separate public notice will be published when the application intake period is open.

Application intake for Thursday April 12, 2018 is CANCELLED.

La toma de aplicaciones para el programa de sección 8 no volverá a abrirse hasta nuevo aviso. Un aviso público independiente será publicado cuando la toma de aplicaciones se abra.

La toma de aplicaciones para el Jueves 12 de Abril de 2018 se CANCELA.

CLOSING of Elderly Waiting List - Application Intake

Effective January 1, 2018, The Housing Authority of the City of McAllen will close the Elderly Waiting List application intake for the Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Programs. The Elderly application intake for both programs will not re-open until further notice.
