Notice is hereby given that the Housing Authority of the City of McAllen (HA) is proposing to amend the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Administrative Plan. The HCV Administrative Plan's purpose is to inform the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the general public of the HA's implementation of program regulation found within 24CFR Part 5 and 24CFR982.
Public review and comment are encouraged during the 30-day comment period commencing on February 10, 2020. A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the HA Family Development Center located at 2501 W. Maple Avenue, McAllen Texas.
Copies of the amended HCV Administrative Plan will be available for public review during the comment period, during normal business hours at the Main Office of the HA located at 2301 Jasmine Avenue, McAllen, Texas 78501. In addition, the HCV Administrative Plan will be uploaded to the HA's Website at www.mcallenha.org .
Comments regarding the plan may be mailed to the Main Office of the HA or submitted via website to the attention of Mr. Arnold Padilla, Executive Director through March 10, 2020.
